Colleen is a graduate of East West College of the Healing Arts and has practiced bodywork since 2000. Her specialties are myofascial release techniques, deep tissue techniques, gua-sha, instrument-assisted soft tissue manipulation, and relaxation massage.
She is proficient in treating headaches, TMJ dysfunction, and whiplash. Yoga has become a part of her life after experiencing several chronic injuries of her own and she strongly believes that movement, flexibility, balance, and strength are an essential part of preventing injury, as well as helping the body heal while recovering from injury.
Colleen was born and raised in Oregon. During her formative years, her family moved to a small Christmas tree farm in Oregon City which they transformed into a family farm. This is where she learned the value of hard work and the benefits of farm-fresh, local, organic food. Family vacations involved camping, hiking, and fishing in Oregon.
When Colleen isn’t doing bodywork you can find her spending time with her partner and friends, riding her road and gravel bikes, jogging, hiking, back-country skiing, gardening, and cooking.
